The story continues immediately after the ancient containment system beneath Meridiani-07 fails. A second opened container suggests someone reached the hidden system first. Then Pixel disappears, sending Matt and Hanna beyond the station toward Azar-12.

What begins as a rescue becomes a passage through a hostile machine base and ends with the crew holding their first real clue toward humanity. The Extended Edition reshapes the three episodes into a single cinematic arc of survival, pursuit and discovery.

The story

The last human anyone can find is still searching.

Matt Wally, an archivist from Earth in 2067, was meant to wake beside a new human colony. Instead, he awakens on Mars thousands of years later. Humanity has vanished, its settlements have become ruins, and the years between his departure and arrival are missing from his life.

With every log he records, Matt searches the red planet for a signal, a survivor, or a clue to where his species went.

An archivist from Earth in 2067, Matt repairs what he can, records what he cannot explain and refuses to wait for someone else to rescue him. Practical, stubborn and technically capable, he carries a dry sense of humor through a world built thousands of years after his departure.
