Pixel

Loyal, alert and built to notice what humans miss, Pixel is Matt’s oldest companion and the crew’s indispensable scout.

The world

What Mars remembers

Matt arrived after the world he expected had already become history. These are the four boundaries the published archive can currently support.

He left Earth in 2067 aboard the Aeterna, carrying an archive of human culture toward a new colony. He wakes on Mars thousands of years later. Human infrastructure covers the planet, but the people who built it are gone and no one answers the radio.

Meridiani-07 gives Matt shelter, evidence and a base for the search. Pixel helps him read the landscape; Hanna brings fragments of a later Martian age into the present.

Thousands of years are missing from Matt’s life.

Matt leaves Earth in 2067 and wakes on a Mars shaped by civilizations he never witnessed. The archive separates what the crew knows from what they infer.
